VXR8 - very nice choice sir.
I don't know how far removed from its holden / HSV counterpart they are but if they didn't cost $50 - 60k for a couple of years old one, and I didn't have baby on the way I would snap one up in a heart beat.... (the wife says 1 v8 is enough for me...)

Plus there is HEAPS of after market bolt on goodies to get HEAPS of power out of them

It's got a few different plastic panels, different badge etc. It is just a rebadged HSV Clubsport at the end of the day.

I've already been eyeing up supercharger kits, they're mega money though, £8000 for another 200 HP :/

My neighbour had one of these beasts a year or 2 ago and all I can say is what a car! Looked stunning in red and sounded like something I've never heard before especially in the high revs.

There's a picture of it on Google Street view with the car parked on his drive. I'll put the Linky up when I'm on the PC tonight

My first mods would be a new cam, full exhaust system including headers, new intake set up and a remap. Just those make them a different best. Best thing is that you can get them all over the counter.

Have you been looking at Walkinshaw performance for nice bits and pieces?

    Raul is now sold

Actually gonna miss that car, 2 years of love went into it, got that awful feeling in my stomach second guessing myself.

Also hoping his new owner will actually keep it this time

Picked it up last night, stunning motor. Already started looking at cams etc, they are RIDICULOUSLY expensive!! (select Cam Pack on the left)..

It's already got a Walkinshaw exhaust, you can hear it coming from half a mile away!
