I don't know this chap or his son, and I'd go if I could, but those of you who are more local may wish to show your support. I can't imagine how I'd cope with something like this myself.

Hi buddy, tried replying to your message, but your inbox must be full.
I have news regarding our earlier conversation.
Firstly... Jackie at Prodrive would like to invite your little man, wife and yourself to their HQ in Banbury, to sit in Colin and Richards championship winning scoobies, and maybe check out the Mini WRC ;-)
And secondly... Angela, (Malcolm wilsons PA) of M Sport Ford World Rally, team would like to do something for you all. And with Rally GB coming up, who knows ;-)*
May I take this time to thank both "Prodrive" and "M Sport" for showing their wonderful support at this time.*
Can you message me your contact number asap, so I can forward onto Jackie and Angela... They can call you and get things arranged. Thanks.
Hope you all enjoy
Regards & Best Wishes
Steve*
Amazing what can be achieved through the petrolhead community !!!
Excellent!
Already picking up steam on the VXROnline forums too
Wish I could go, it's £60-£70 fuel for me.

What a nice thing to do for his son, and it is nice to see there are loads of ppl supporting this. I bet the boy will have a good day, and that will do his family good
The one and only... Galant with PFL VR4 bumper complete with fogs and Super VR-4 canards in Norway (unless you know otherwise)

Well, I've pretty much decided I'm attending this. My old man lives 10 mins drive away so can make a day of it.
Things are going to get seriously hot surrounding this event. With around 1000 people already saying they'll potentially attend (700+ confirming they will for definite), this is going to be an event to remember.
Turns out the filming for Fast 6 is going on in London at the moment, I've sent a tweet to all the stars who have a twitter account (Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez etc) inviting them also sent Vin Diesel a message on FB. Other members of VXRO are doing the same thing as well.
What better way can you give a kid a dying wish than to see some movie stars?
fantastic idea there jason.
i was thinking of attending put a nudge up for the north west meet people to see if they will be attending.
sounds like im going to try and persuade my misses if i can go because this is for a good cause and it would be nice to have a more local car meet. as i havent met any of you on here.
Turns out the event might be limited to 1000 attendees, there's a attendance list going through the thread.
have they chosen a new venue for it?
My mate in the FTO club passed this on to me. I know there are a few of you in that area so maybe we could have a presence there...

Never argue with a fool – they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience!
That really is so sad. I hope he gets a fantastic turn out. I'd go myself if I were able to but just can't on that date unfortunately. Best wishes to him and his family.
seen it earlier .had a lump in my throat reading it.hope the little fella has a great day
possibly the clubs first manual super
As some of you know, I teach Health and Social Care at Waltham Forest college.
I also have a strong Military background.
In an adult I can deal with this type of thing and not bat an eye lid, but for this to happen to a child.
I'm in tears sat at my desk, at work reading this. It's such a shame that it takes somthing as terrible as this to bring people together...
For me I think this would be a end of life event, I really don't know ohw I would cope with that news...
I'm looking at monies and times. (I would love to say stuff the attendance list.)
I just pray to the gods that I never have to go through this.
Awww man that really really sucks. Best wishes to him and his family
Manual Super #143/283
Indeed, I'm a cynical person but seeing the response to this young lad's plight certainly tugged at my emotions, there is a lot of good in the world still.
Already posted on an event thread.
