Has to be a Manual, and don't really like them in Silver. As low mileage as possible, rust free. Not looking for something to tidy up so VGC please.

Modifications welcomed if quality parts (e.g. OEM, Performance Brands, no eBay/Japspeed etc rubbish.)

Location is not an issue (I am based in North Yorkshire), Ireland isn't easy for me with insurance etc but could maybe be worked with.

This is subject to me selling my current car, unfortunately I can't do anything until that happens.

Given your requirements, budget and location, it *may* be worth looking at something at Ebony & Ivory. Treat it like a private sale though, and check the car over thoroughly. The biggest advantage of this option is the fact it would be a fresh import, with probably zero rust.

I'd already seen it, I'm not a fan of the bonnet vent. Ireland isn't the easiest either, as I'll need to get it trailered over to mine before it's registered etc.

I've noticed. I'd have to drive an auto and see if I could live with it, or find out how much a conversion is. If I did it myself all the parts would sit there for a couple of years until I found the motivation!

Got another deposit on the Mazda so I'm back on.

Really is going to have to be a manual though, a conversion seems a costly and not so easy to acquire option.

u can control the gears in tip mode and in town use auto its great fun

Cars aren't a necessity for me, so I want something I like. The thought of owning an auto doesn't excite me in one bit, and seeing as this is probably the closest I'll get to owning an Evo then it has to be right.

I like the full experience of driving a car, and having an auto will detract from that IMO. There's nothing better than blipping down the gears in a turbo'd car, popping and banging.

Kind of missing the point. At 23, Evo insurance is through the roof, something I'm not willing to pay. It was actually cheaper to insure an R32 GTR but again it was a price I wasn't willing to pay.
