Am taking photos as i go along. so far it looks like the small end of the rod will need the bronze bushing pressed out and the small end machined to take a 20mm wrist pin bushing to accomidate the 20mm pin of the 4AGZE pistons and the skirt will need to be ground down a bit to clear the crank counterweights other then that they should fit no problem.
also over the comming months i will be experementing with a much more aggressive cam profile to grind onto a billet cam (which I ordered the steel for today) something in the order of 11mm+ lift and well over 270 degrees duration, see how that goes and then offer it to the club for those wanting some serious top end kick, as well as still offering the 262 regrind for those after good midrange
I may also be lucky enough to have the opportunity to turn up a billet crankshaft soon...
But thats all I will mention on the matter until further details are finalised and some development/prototypes have been done.
Looking forward to seeing how you get on with the 270deg+ cams, just wondering though how you work out what specs to get your cams made up to? Thinking of changing mine when the cambelt needs doing but unsure what to change it to.
