Help!

Hey guys i need some desperate help. Started my car to go out for lunch, started fine, idle fine and then all of a sudden it turned off. No i cant get it to start. Fuel Pressue is there. checked most fuses.. Is there any thing i need to be checking first before i call for a tow truck? :-(

Vacuum lines, pipes all on? battery terminals on? battery have enough charge?

Do you have lights on the dash when you try start?

yep all lights up, cranks over fine, just no spark at all by the sounds of if. I was running sweet then nothing. If its the crank angle sensor how can i tell? And is it a mission i can replace?

The real **** thing is im all thew way out in Mt Roskill and home is in Devonport.. :-(

Yea some time ago I had a similar prob but its been no worries for ages now

does anyone have the aftermarket part numbers for the CAM and Crank angle sensors?? Im having these replaced today and mine done have numbers on them anymore!

Crank angle sensor Part # MD303088 (stock mitsi item, pfl)

Thats all I can find, your mechanic should be able to find an aftermarket on knowing the stock number lol


Edit: Just found the part number for the Cam sensor # MD316605

Yea thanks man, but apparntly the replacement part number actually starts with a J? He has the mitzi codes already.. im sure hes sorted it.. well i hope so anyways..................... :-D
