    engine breaking up when throttleing

    hi guys my friends vr4 is breaking up when he is driving,when the car is in neutral no problem it will throttle fine but when it is driving the car is breaking up and sputtering alot any ideas what can cause dis???????????

    I would check Spark Plugs, Fuel Pressure, Boost Leaks, Oil/Water in Turbo Pipes

    Yep, check spark plugs (most likely), plug leads (possible), fuel injectors (quite likely, can send them off to be ultrasonically cleaned), boost leak (free to check!).
