Any thoughts so far? (not that I care as its only my opinion that matters ) The entire car has been done in matte anthracite metallic other than the skirts, spoiler, door bump strips, arches & roof in gloss black

Looking VERY good, funny I toying with exact the same idea on mine vr4, kind of grey-ish matt vinyl (like some of this new BMW optional lacquer). Now you are pioneer so I must find different shade

What is the figure for doing up whole car in your part of country, if you don't mind me asking.

Personally, I think the whole car in the same would be better, or at least the blue re-done in a matt blue. I'm not sure the two colours in two finishes works. The matt anthracite does look amazing though!

Has it been resprayed or is it a vinyl wrap, either way the mat grey is very nice.
Where is the blue, all I see is the black spoilers on the back, and the rest is grey.

Oh it might be a typo you meant it to be black.
i would like see pics from the front of car showing the bonnet wings and roof, but I think it will work with black accents

Thanks for the tip @Kryton. I've just spent about 20 mins staring at those pics and there really is something about that. Especially the front view. Can't quite put my finger on it, but yes I like that. Be good to see it in the flesh, probably when the weather improves!

Cost wise, I was getting quoted circa £1800 using these colours. You can get it done cheaper but I paid to get all the panels removed so there is no visible edge. Ever panel is completely wrapped rather than just worked into the creases.

I was tempted to use a metallic or a pearl colour wrap but the problem is, they are only really suitable for flatter cars or gentle curves. Because of the weird shapes on our panels, like the rear quarters with sharp curves (if you know what I mean, can't really explain), the material requires immense heat so the pattern can end up distorting slightly if you're not careful. The only visible colours on the outside will be grey & black once its done.

Chris, just being curious...
How they are dealing with all bodywork imperfections, i.e. dents, scratches, etc. Our vehicles are 12yrs old on average and in most cases bodywork is far from ideal. Wrapping all around would rather bring out dents and so on.
