advise etc ?

good morning guys
it,s a new year and it,s about time my vr4 ( brought of ebay £3000 117000 miles ) had some work done on it .

i have changed the oil etc
but it,s about time it had a cam belt etc espically as the other belts are squeking etc
the lash adjusters are very noisy adn i have treid thrashing it and adatives
to no avail
has any one changed these and if so how much ?
also any one know the spark plug grades

and it,s about time i joined the forum so who do i pay ?

DO a search on lash adjusters or hydraulic lifters. I think it costs mega dosh to change them, but not much to take them out and clean them. (Just lots of man hours for that!)

The other belts can be tightened very easily, but don't overtighten as the main pulley is rubber mounted.

The cam belt is a must, so again, do a search and you should find where people have had it done and how much they have paid.
