i like good bass aswell , but most of the time have kids in the car so would never use it , all my old cars have had a system of some kind ranging from a single 8" up to 2 x 12" and 2 x 15" in the same install .

answer is no you can never be to old to like it but you may look like a d!ck in the process

i put a 12" in my old works van , all it achieved was rattling my tools screws and bolts around so much so you heard a small amount of bass over the rattle of cr@p in the back .

Got a 10" sub in the Supra, but can't fit 1 in the Leggie due to it being a doggie carrier

Haha I shall let you off then lol.

I'm not sure if this is anyone's on here but I really like this idea:

I remember reading about this and its fully removable its a custom box that uses the same base as the standard cubby hole, so it can be easily removed if you need to cart stuff around. I think I'm guna do the same but have one on either side

I've had a sub in all the cars I own - however over the years I've gone from just loud bass to more melodic bass that fits in with the system.

I still have my 2 12" JL Audio subs to go back into the Legnum, and I have a quarter-wave T-line box with a 10" sub on standby (and OMG is that thing loud). The work runabout will eventually have 2 8" subs under the seat hopefully.

I don't "do" car audio! principally becuase most of the 25 cars I have owned have been tinky lightweight 80's hot hatches and subwoofers just slowed them down! and even now I have the legnum I can't stand driving with music on too loud! it is on purely as a bit of background noise.
