There is max amount of LPG reducer can decompress thats why reducers can do certain bhp depending on max fuel engine needs.
More fuel needed for engine, more gas needed to be decompressed, more heat needed to keep reducer under normal working temp.
Reducers don't want to be fitted very close to manifold exhausts cause heat excess may not be healthy fo rubber seals used on reducers and reducer may get overheated while in traffic especially in the summer time.
Apology if my english is bad, doing my best.
i think i get it - your english is not the problem though! Is that fuel pipe big enough?
Never argue with a fool – they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience!

that pipe is 18mm if I'm looking at the right one
Talking about the pipe connected to that bulky brass part (solenoid valve with built in filter).
It looks to me like solenoid valve designed with input for 8mm pipe.

It looks like that is 8mm pipe so at least that is right.
To make sure you can check the pipes diameters connected to multivalve on the tank.
Just take round centre cover of the top of the tank off and you will have full access.

Well manged to get plugs swapped out (cheers wodj) and it's same story with rear plugs seem to be working that much harder. Will run with 7s for a while to see how the front and rears compare in say 6 months time.

You can guess from the pix below which two were from the rear.

The gap on the one the *bad* plugs was 1.7mm!!

Just need to patch a hole in the exhaust now :-) hopefully will see over 220 again from approx 53L (approx 36GBP) of autogas from themix of town and mway journeys

Why are the rear plugs doing more work by the way?

I don't think the rears do more work, it's just that the rear bank is more likely to run hot - the inlet plenum sits just where it needs to prevent any air circulation around the rear head.

Yep they definitely get hotter, Wodj ran cloder plugs on rear bank for a good while..and they seemed to hold out better.

Having said that these are probably about 95k old so due a change...and now there no difference with booting / kickdown between LPG n petrol with smooth pickup and no hesitation

I do, run both, auto and then convert to manual, not much difference TBH, may 2MPG better on manual, TOP, manuals have very short gears, so you keep engine at higher revs in comparison to auto gbox, higher revs=more fuel burn, cruising on motorway at 70mph and manual is on 3000rpm, IMO not very economical.

    Hi There,
I have a manual Legnum VR4 running LPG.

On V-power (or Momentum) petrol I get 27mpg normal or 30mpg on long runs.

    On LPG I get 23mpg. Typically £45 = 60 litres = 260 miles

    Big thumbs up :-)

I would strongly recommend having a wideband lambda gauge installed though and whoever installs the LPG to know about tuning cars as well as LPG otherwise you WILL be running lean although it might not feel like it. You will be :-)

Most things have been covered on here number of times before mate. But as time goes on a) we forget and b) new members join who don't know :-)

I always try the search function on the site before asking questions (like I just have for the cam belt question I have posted in the Engine section) however the search always returns any thread with any mention of cam belt in it and I don't have long enough to read all the posts to see if what I am asking has been covered before. Add to that that details / opinions and facts change over the course of the time the club has been running its often best to ask and get the most up to date info :-)

Not having a rant (not at all honest ;-)) just kind of think its nice for those that know, and that maybe know where the info is on the forum to link to it for those that are unable to find it or are unaware that it exists. That's what the club is all about for me, sharing information and helping each other out.
