    Many thank's Sir ,

But , i don't want to go with ignition coils for N/A engine .. i saw that the GB is for Toyota Tacoma ignition coils ... Anyway , the idea is good ! i prefer to go with performance coils like accel or MSD .

There is no designed set of performance coils for 6a13tt engine. Either way, you need to adopt solution with 6 individual coils posted above or do some custom job.

Be aware also that -19T compressor cfm is massive hence you will pressurize cylinders quicker that -7T (vr4) or -13T (Impreza). At 1 bar you may get to the point where subaru -13T needs 1.6 bar to achieve. Simply, I'm trying to say that above 1 bar with -19T compressor you may get so much air compressed that its resistance will cause problems. Such gizzmos like spark enhancers by HKS may help.
    Ex: Galant VR4
Running 268 HP ATW and 443 Nm torque at 0.9 bar
    Now: Lancer Evolution 8 FQ-300
Running 325 HP ATW and 510 Nm torque at 1.6 bar

    That's right!!!

Yesterday on motorway i made a roll start with stock GTR 35 !!! 1 bar of boost on the galant and the GTR and can not pass the vr4 ... i made 423awhp @ 15 psi ... I wanted to increase the boost but misfire on misfire ... I love the Galant it's a monster Anyway , i'm ready to inject ££££ for a good and stronger setup and i find this http://www.okadaprojects.com/usa/pro...quad%20pac.htm

Saf, beware this set is for 4G63 engine hence different length of coils.

I think that is possible to modify the coil for a direct fit.

My plan is easy , find a performance coil and modify for a plu'n'play instalation .

I don't think the Evo coils are long enough to reach our plugs.

Saf, been through Okada website. I can see it working only if okada coils have removable coil boots and will work with stock ones, then you can use vr4 boots. Personally I'm not sure how much you will gain becasue it's still waste spark plug system, okada coils are waste spark. I would rather aim for 6 individual coils driven from your AEM ecu.

    Thank's my friend

I spend some time on this f****g coil... Please note that the stock coils can't support 320awhp with baby boost ( 0.8 bars) ... I'll go for a strong setup , i'll use a power transistor unit (ptu) and coils from GTO ... with stock coils and HKS DLI 1 , i made 930awhp on my 3000GT without missfire ..

It's not expensive setup less $300 ... and i know that will work

Do you mean stock GTO coils? How can it be better if you have 6 HT leads to deal with? IMO coil over plug system is more efficient.
You can try also NGK uprated leads specifically made for vr4, they were only available for JDM market, something 0.9kohm vs. stock 16 kohm.

Anyway, happy to hear more from you about ignition upgrades.

Christians COP setup, as above, is very plug and play. It took me less than 2 hours to fit mine and I have never pulled the upper manifold before and I'm not a mechanic. Has made a small improvement to the fuel economy and the engine reaches a smooth idle almost immediately when starting with no throttle, eg. standing outside the car and turning the Key through the window. My car is having the ECU. reflashed at the end of the month and will have the boost raised and the fuel maps fixed to suit our ****ty 98Ron fuel. From the experience of other VR4 tragics here in Oz I can look forward to better performance in just about every area. To get back on topic the coils that Christian uses do the job very well with boost pressure turned right up the maximum level that stock Turbos can handle. Had the Tune done last weekend and the result is great. 14lb boost and when I stop having fun with that there should be an improvement in the fuel consumption. The car feels a lot smoother and stronger.

When i was with stock td03 , E85 , new ik24 , new magnecor wire , 550cc injectors , 1.2 bars of boost and stock coil ( like 15 years , i think never remplaced ), i never had a problem of misffire .. Now i'm with TD04 19T HL , 1000cc injectors , new IK24 , new magnecor wire , 0.8/0.9 bars , i have mifffire past the 6000rpm and if i try to run with more boost like 1.2 bars , i have immediatly missfire when the boost come . I increase the coil dwell time in the aem ems , i tryed different coil dwell time ( lancer evo 8 and evo 9 , 3000GT etc etc ) and i can have a little better...
Rabbit, how many ovner trien your cop on big setup? i don't know .... But i know that on 3000GT/GTO that the stock coils , magnecor wires and ik31 , HKS DLI , we can go easly to 930+ Awhp!!!

Swinks , the GTO coil setup is not plug'n'play , but it's very esay to make the upgrade.. The galant ecu and the 3000GT ecu is very similar... You've 3 pins on both ecu for coils ( A, B and C ) the wire need to go to the new ptu from 3000GT ( power transistor unit ) and go to the coils , pleas read this :

    For the ptu :

    http://www.stealth316.com/2-pwrtransunit.htm

    Ignition coils :

    http://www.stealth316.com/2-ignitioncoils.htm

Ecu pin 3000GT --> open the xls file :

    http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...43148975,d.ZG4

I ordered yesterday a new ptu and coils for 3000GT , i'll post you the wire shema and feeback of course ..

Christians Cop setup is specifically set up for a 6a13 and the coils may not suite the 3000GT.
