    clutch master/slave cylinder threads

    hey,

    im wanting to replace all the hydraulic piping between the two clutch cylinders with an-4 braided hose but am unsure of the fittings i need into the cylinders.
    i thinking it will be an adaptor from (cylnder fitting) to the an-4, and then the hose on to that.

    does anyone know the sizes?

    i'm not very good at making the copper lines, my 3rd attempt is currently in there and im still not happy that its leak free. but i'm not sure if i'm using the right fittings, the ones i have, have about 5mm of threadless area at the end?

    Sorry, Ash. I haven't a clue. The slave is the same as the Evo jobby, and I have heard rumours that the master is the same as UKDM Glanats, so maybe that much info will help you google it?

    didn't get round to this in the way i intended (full length of braided hose)

    and never found out what size the fittings were.

    i ended up buying a hel braided line for an evo. this one from ebay
    at £20 i thought worth the risk. it has a union (thinner than standard, shorter bolt supplied) that goes onto the slave cylinder, has a moving grommet that fits the standard position on top of the box. the other end of the pipe finishes the same as the original flexi-hose but roughly 15-20cm away from the master cylinder.
    it does away with the damper mounted on the slave cylinder (whats the point in this?)

    when making the new length of pipe, (master to fexi) i was able to clean up and use some of the original fittings (there are four between slave and factory flexi)
