Hey all , this is some news about my single setup ...
For the clearance i needed to think about the problem enormously but I found a solution to make a clean work ...

nice work.....why didn't you use the stock manifolds and do the runners from there?
What size is your secondary pipe, and why did you decide to make it so large?
any reason other than simplicity why you went with log manifolds instead of equal length tubular?
Hi , my english it's too bad to make some technical explanations ..But this what i used to make the manifold .. ( for the design and for the clearance i used the style from Mercedes AMG E63 )

I'f my math is right , the galant will be at 760hp at the wheel @ 28 psi of boost .

Awesome work SAF
I love reading this thread
What would be best 13t or a 19t turbos for our roads ?
I'm back on the board
19T for sure if you can go with billet 20T it will be better
New update and pictures comming soon ... The car is ready to fight with new setup :
-Bosch 1200cc
-Twin 485L with B.A.P @ 17v
-Custom fuel line (8AN and 6AN return line)
-Custom bigger 90mm intake manifold + 90mm TB
-Custom 120MM FMIC ( need to remove the crash bar)
-Custom 76mm QTP working with vacuum
-Single turbo Precision 6466CEA gen 2 (900HP turbo)
-Tial WG 38mm
I will make a new dyno the next week when i will be back at my home and some pic + vidéo ...Hope the best but i think that i will need a new clutch like quarter master with PULL TO PUSH bearing
Saf
I have half of a OS Giken push to pull kit. if you want it. its yours. just missing the fork and release bearing.
that or you can use a Hydraulic release bearing / Concentric slave cylinder. I have used them on push type clutches In VR4's before with great sucess.
Hi Adam ,
I saw many post of you on the board and i saw that you have a solid knowloged about the evo and galant gearbox. i have a quick question please about gearbox . I know that the bellhousing on evo is different , but if i swap the housing , wich gearbox from evo will be ok to run with rear differential on my galant ?? Evo 4 , 5 6 etc etc ?? Hope that you understand my question because my english is not really good
Thank's
Saf
Any 5 speed box will be fine Saf. The same rear diff is used regardless of the gearbox ratios.
The way the drivetrain works in a VR4 takes a while to get your head around, but long story short the diffs have nothing to do with the final drive or gear ratios.
you just have to make sure the front transfer gears (inside the transfercase) are the same ratio as the rear diff. so as long as you use the stock transfer case and rear diff you can use any W5M51 gearbox internals you want!
Good grief!!!!!!!
853 awhp with stock cams. Must be silly amounts of torque
Pretty amazing stuff, I wonder what it is like to actually drive, it must be insane.
I am aiming for less than half of that and I am still dithering over it.
But things are gradually falling into place.
Bye for Now!
I don't think we've ever seen such figures for our engines or? Amazing!
