Does anyone know if the vr4 wheel arches will fit a 2.5 '01 sport?

Is it worth the investment?

visually i think they are a little blah. make it look like a try hard evo 5. you probably weren't looking for an opinnion though!

they should - apart from the arches the rest of the body kit on the vr4 looks exactly the same as my old v6 sport.

also the arches actually sit about 2cm lower than the body work - which should go some way to making the sport ride hight look a bit better if you dont already have lowering springs

Not sure how much the kit is though? Not sure if it would contain the sills and
rear lower bumper parts too..?!?

Hmmmm, Mitsubishi have just told me that the VR4 arches will not fit on the Galant Sport?????

Has anyone here bought the arches and tried fitting them on to their non-vr4 Galant?

dont see how they wont fit?the body shell's are the same,i think on a GLS we'd have to remove the moulded mud flap's for them to fit..did they give you a price?

Nope, they didn't give me a price. They did however, mention that a VR4 spoiler should fit which requires uprated boot springs for 380+22 pounds (sorry off topic slightly).

SCC - the body kit on my old 2002 V6 Sport was exactly the same as my current 2001 vr4 saloon - the VR4 has the arches and the start where the sport kit finishes (if that makes sense)

dont buy a vr4 spoiler from mitsi - get it from the US - i got one for my sport for £150

Thanks for the Info. Mitsubishi have come back saying that there are 26 options for the VR4 Arches and they cannot match that to my Galant sport.

Does anyone have the part numbers for the arches that match a Pyrenees Black GalantV6 Sport?

They only have 26 options because they come colour coded. Jesus, Dealers are unhelpful!

It is strange that the dealers to say that the arches will not fit, but the risk is mine as I cannot return them if they don't. They can proceed if I can get a chassis number of a similar looking VR4 galant? (pyrenees black '01 sport). Any takers?

Your dealer is bull****ting you. I started to think about this for my Sport too, and one call to my local dealer and they came back with a price for unpainted ones in about 5 minutes after they looked it up on CAPS. They were about 75 quid as I remember.
