Keep things simple.
Boost tops 1.2bar and AFR 11.5 to start with and no higher than 12.5 as a finish product.
Start logging and pulling timing and logging again.
Keep AFR higher than targeted minimum.
3rd gear is fine.

Eventually been out and do some runs, results as follow

Ignore 100-200 times as road was not long and safe enough and 0-100 as I didn't have balls to launch it properly as my gbox is poorly atm, more to come.

It is a good improvement to knock a second off the time, but the standard 0-100kmph is supposed to be 6 seconds.
What were your launches like. As had as possible or get it rolling and the floor it.
Maybe a more representative comparison would be 3rd gear 30-70mph
Then there would be no issue with the launch off the line and you would not be stressing the clutch so much.
Just a thought.
Bye for Now!
Right big question guys @Kenneth @Adam.Findlay @lathiat and others in know, how far and we can/should tweak ignition timing? asking as we tweak timing for about 8 degree in some cells and I'm not sure that is still good as I don't get any knock (on LPG) but not sure if I should go as far as its possible or there are some limits which should not be exceed? can any one shed some light on how it should/could be tune, please.
just keep winding timing into it until you pick up det/knock. then back it off a few degrees.
With KS mods you can have CEL on knock so that will give you a quick visual indication of if you have put to much advance into it/ not wound enough out of it.
@Patryn999 uses a SD card in his Openport2.0 connector to continually log even when there is no laptop connected.
the logs can then be later reveiwed and opened via Evoscans map tracer function to show where and when the knock was happening so you can adjust the timing to suit.
what are your AFR's like. (I'm not sure what the stoich is for LPG, if it is any different to regular gasoline.)
Stoich for LPG is 15.5:1 instead of 14.7:1 for gasoline.
That was our approach but after we wind it up so much as 8 degree in some areas and still have no knock we decide to stop there and look for advice if there are some limits, it will knock on petrol with this timing but not at all on LPG, we just set afrs on last tue to be in between 11.7-12.5 depends on which gear is WOT, stoich for LPG is 15.5:1
I use Kenneth rom with cel on knock.

sounds good. I'd keep going.
also lol at your massive negative timing high RPM/low load. for the crackle on decel.
Be good to see a dyno graph of it once you have finished tuning it
Question is it will ever end? I'm not so sure that at some point I can say 'yes that's it, all done to the limit' there always be some areas that could be improved, me think, then it will be td04 times and start from scratches, our aim is to practice on td03s for now and be prepare for td04s later
i think a dyno run before the turbo conversion and one or two after and it should be a nice comparison.
it will also tell us what difference if any all of our adjusting has made.
i think we will need to do a tuning night on my car like we did on yours. to see how it compares to yours. i know mine is an auto and your is a manual, but the 40 to 80 pull in 3rd should be about the same. the gear ratio is almost the same.
Wednesday sounds good
I have pm @adaxo about Wednesday, I can't do it now.
here is another video from HP Academy this time. for the very basic description of reflashing an ecu.
