    perished Bushes?

After having a knocking for a while, thought it sounded like a loose bolt on the exhaust. But after investigation my guess it is the inner bushings on both sides at rear, on the arms (that don't have the arb's attached.
I could twist them quite easily, am I right in thinking that they shouldn't do that?

if you are talking about the rear toe control arms with a forwards and backwards wobble, they are meant to move in this direction, but they are not meant to be loose, if you twist it and let go, it should not flop about, it should stay where you positioned it.
if it flops forward and back with no effort at all it could be this arm that is causing the knocking, but it is usually a ball joint that knocks, you need to use a pry bar and test all the suspension arms for excessive movement. if you think you have found one that moves don't stop there test them all.
    happy hunting

after looking on camskill I think it's the Rear Lower Camber Adjustment Arm that I can rotate forward and back. If they are meant to move in this way as you have said, then All is good.

yeah, as long as they are not floppy loose then the inside joint is ok, the outside joint is a ball joint, so it needs checking.

Those bars are fairly new, less than a year (Ben changed them last may)
Rear drop links, could be? they were replaced at the same time, but they were disconnected for a few months as lower arm mounts were perished, so poss they could of been damaged in doing that? but they look ok.

Think I have found the cause of the ting.

While having new tyres fitted today, I had a look underneath and found the rubbers just behind the cat/de-cat have broken, and marks on the prop where the bracket has been hitting it.

So after the valet tomorrow, on fri, my mate who works in ats say's I can borrow a ramp, so I can fit new rubbers with ease.
