Use one on drivers side and use red led or brake light next to it

Or nail varnish & just use the same bulb
Possibly the only VR4 that was driven by the current owner before being registered..... & it's a UK car

Personally, I would keep the reversing lights and turn the drivers side inner tail lamp into a fog lamp. Its been done before by several peoeple.

A quick search turned up this thread: http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthr...ight+fog+light

Mines in the drivers side fog light, just painted the bulb, will be changing to utilise the two inner brake lights so it's symmetrical soon though

i would use the inner or outer brake light as the fog light, you need a hi intensity light to use a fog light. the brake lights are just the thing for this.
but the trick to it will be to ensure that when the brake light is not being used as fog light it acts like a brake light again.

    Bye for Now!

there s nothing stopping you doing both side in either method, it just depends how lazy you are if you cant be bothered to do both sides or not.

Just a quick obvious one ...... Be wary if your going to do 2 rear fogs on the tailgate brake circuit, as a FL has third high level brake light, be careful where you cut n splice!
You wouldn't want that coming on too, as a fog (or maybe you would?)

My way is fine on a facelift legnum. My last and current vr4s both fall into that category and both had the mod.

when I got my VR4 someone had did a very tidy job at fitting a rear fog into the back bumper as you can see in the pic below. But about 2 months ago I awoke one sunday morning to find someone had ripped the back bumper off and stole the fog. Been looking everywhere to find another but was hard as I didn't know what car it had come off. Closest I found was a 2004 Celica which has 2 in the rear bumper so I have now fitted it for my mot. Problem was the syrround on the new one is silver so once car is through mot I will spray the holder black to match the car.

Looks a lot better than mine, I've got a temporary round led fog lamp in the oblong hole in the bumper, looks dreadful but it works and that's all the mot is interested in.
I think it does spoil the look of the back end having one fog to one side! At least with the sillycar (sorry Celica) I've seen 2 in the bumper and it looks much better.
I've run the cable into the tailgate, all that's next to do is terminate with a relay and then fill the void in the bumper
