painting the valve cover? or rocker cover as you guys call it!

So, the plastic engine cover had a couple little cracks in it so i took it off to see what the engine looks like without it..

put the cover in the boot for 1 day and it completely disintegrated..........
(why did i have to be so damn curious, mine wasn't that bad ughhh)

luckily the engine doesn't look that bad without the cover

so i was thinking i might paint it and stencil "MITSUBISHI" and either Twin Turbo, VR4, or 2500.

upon researching i only came to someone linking ozvr4 to see something about painting the cover, i cant access that site from work.

what are peoples thoughts on this what colours and any pictures of anyone that has done this?

i was thinking Red with either white or black writing on it.
also anyone have a good idea for stencils? or should it be one solid colour?

I have mine powder coated in red, and use a carbon engine cover (only goes on for shows)

mine are powder coated satin black.

Also search on here for fto rocker cover or similar.

paint will crack/discolour after a while... powder coat.
