Sorry to hear all of this, D.

You've got a good group of friends here who are here should you need us - anything that is on your mind, just type it down here - it will help, even if you don't end up hitting the Submit button.

Wow Derek, really sorry to hear that. I feel bad for making a joke about it earlier now.

As people have already said, if you need help, there are plenty here who can at least put some friendly words down on the forum for you. If you need help in the real world there is plenty out there. Dont be scared to look for it. First step could be the GP and go from there.

Hope things settle down for you soon and you can walk away from this whole situation in a good way.

    Hi
We've never met and probably won't but I kno what your going thru. My mum decided to leave my dad after 12 yrs and although he didn't get kicked out lost the lot.
Came home to an empty house, she hired a van! All that was left was the fridge and his stereo system. Everything they ever bought together she took.
Too say he lost it is an understatement....drank 2 bottles of vodka, 24 beers, some pills and hen slit both wrists.
He says he has no recall of events but spent 2 weeks in hospital getting sorted out.
He got help in the end and is livin a better life now, u have my sympathies and always remember that a parking warden has the wrst life of everyone lol
Chin up, drink tea and have some Oreos. Works for me

Wow Dave hope your feeling a bit better now bud.

I know this is just a forum & words on a screen but a lot of us have met you & think of you as a good friend even though you don't see us all the time & you must think the same to post this thread.

As said before its good to talk. Surround yourself with friends & family. Its only one person that has made you feel so unhappy but there are many more that will make you happy. Chin up bud.
The mighty Leedsnum has gone but the Airtrek mods will soon fill this space

Derek I am so sorry to hear what you are going through right now. As most have said the important thing is to focus on the positives and keep your head up. If you need someone to talk to then get yourself on here and bleat on to us lot, I for one wouldnt mind in the slightest and I know many others on here wouldnt either. PM's or posts here, whatever you feel like you will probably find a few people that have been through similar if not the same situations and that can offer you some sound advice etc.

Having a relationship end isn't easy for anyone whatever the circumstances but when you have no idea the relationship is even in trouble when it ends so suddenly is a right kick in the balls!!! I had been living with my ex for 2yrs, we had a baby on the way and there was even thoughts of a possible marriage. Everything was better than fine (or so I thought) until one day I found out she had been sleeping with someone else (whilst pregnant with my child)!! Absolutely no idea, no warning just a massive kick in the balls 5 minutes before work!!

Times were hard and sad and if im completely honest there are about 3 people that stopped me from going off the rails. Its because of these 3 people that I am now happier than Ive ever been and this is simply due to opening up and not bottling things up. Having someone to talk to or somewhere to vent your frustrations and feelings can be a massive help and I would encourage you to do as Garry said and right down/type up thoughts and feelings etc if they are overwhelming you. Even if you dont submit or send these feelings to anyone just getting them onto paper or screen can be enough to relieve some tension.

Anyway Ive waffled on far too much but keep your chin up mate and keep positive and always remember that the club is here for you and will never turn your thoughts/feelings away.

I hope things get better for you soon Derek and I hope to see you again soon.

    Take care
    Rikki

Really sorry to see this Derek. Can't say anything more than the good words already written on here, but yes, you will always have support and good friends on this forum. Do take others' advice of help be it professional or otherwise.
    Take care mate.

Thank you CVR4 peeps, your kind words help.

I'll be fine & move on. but it came as such a devastating blow to me. The warning signs were there, but us sitting down & talking.... & Gail telling me how much she loved me never prepared me for what happened. It's cost me my job, my lovely home with Gail, & nearly my life. At 38 years old...... I thought I'd be sorted by now Ah well.

Anyone want to buy an uwanted engagement ring?

Really hope you come through the other side soon. As everyone has already said dont be shy to post up any grumbles gripes and sh**y thoughts and i'm sure folk will talk through it with you.
