Better late than never Adam. Might get a smaller return, but if its likely to go up, then even a small amount is worth a go.

I would personally... stay away from Tesco.

That was my thoughts exactly three months ago but look what's happen. Apparently this new boss will do huge off load of 'dead wood' and overhaul whole management structures, its happen already, lots of team leaders and doubled managers are on leave and there's more 'cleaning' in pipeline. Since he made this announcement shares 'rocketed' up.

Thing is, IMO to make it worthwhile hassle it should be a fairly big (by my standards) investment of something in region of 10k, what do you think guys?

If you're confident, then go for it.

My only concern is what my broker.... vin... says !

" i'd rather spend a few hundred to make a few thousands, than spend a few thousands to make a few hundred"

If I'm confident?? haha, surely I would not be asking and just go for it if I'm confident.

    Good quote though.

so guys which ''broker?'' do you use or you just call your bank and setup account this way? is there any good service online?

    I'm using Hargreaves Lansdown.
Online account and I'm in full control of what I buy/sell.
Their fees are a little higher than others at £11.95 per transaction, but their mobile app (HL Live) and website is more premium than others.

A friend of mine is looking into Baron Oil (BOIL) as they are currently at 1p a share and about to get an agreement in place to start drilling in Peru. If the agreement comes through (expected this month), prices should spike up quickly.

    Yep... seen that Atik !
But..... given the volatility in the oil market, could be a good chance to turnover a quick profit??

Yeah, it's these levels where BIG bucks could be made. I haven't got the balls to take a dip in with big money in a very volatile market.

I'd only ever put in a few hundred pounds so any profit would be welcome. Just watching with interest for now.
At 1p a share, put £10k on, and you make an extra £10k if it goes up to 2p a share. Mind boggling figures. Buy £1m, make £1m Anything more than 2p, and you look at exponential figures!

Reading some of today's blogs, and that's all they are......... blogs. Looks like summit shares will flatline for the next few months, until next phase in july.
    Gives me more time !!

Lol, nice jump today. Any steady rise over the coming few months is good in my books. There will come that one day where it opens twice as high as it closed the day before!

Once we get 185p, i'll be putting a stop loss on my shares. Gotta keep these money makers safe and secure now.

Big spike at the end of the day today. Almost 10p up from opening.

US prices up nearly $1 today and the market is still open, currently $11.35. Looks good.

My other item watch-list has had a flurry of activity at the end of the day. AFRen is in talks with a Chinese outfit for takeover talks, creditors have given them more time to pay off debts and they are near to getting a new CEO. Hopefully a nice bump in share price for them in the coming few days.
