I've just had the pleasure of replacing the brake pads on my kangoo van. I know its not VR4 related, but hey !! my car is abandoned in the pub car park......... It's new home !! :$

changing brake pads is a relatively straight forward procedure, [ for some ] but renault have excelled themselves !!

ONE 13mm bolt at the bottom of the caliper, remove that & the whole caliper pivots up out of the way !! the pads themselves just pull out, no springs, no clips !! they just lift out !! :-D

the new pads just drop into the slot, no forcing or fiddling, & the piston pushes back with ease !!.

lower the caliper back down, & bolt back up with new bolt { supplied } :-b

once the van was up in the air & wheels off, 3 minutes.................done !!

That's just like the pads on the Galant?! Remove bottom bolt, swing caliper up and hey presto?!
