New owner: first service (oil and ayc)

I'm up for my first oil change since purchasing the car and from then import records the ayc was not serviced when imported. Other fluid changes were documented so for good measure I want to do it now.
I have read 0w30 oil seems to be the oil of choice. I mostly run royal purple in my cars and not sure of the availability of some of the preferred oil choice on this forum.
As for the ayc I have read I need to go to a mitsubishi dealership for this servocd
I have read there are 3 components to the ayc service, is this correct? Just want to know what I'm asking for and what needs to be done when I take the car in
How many km's is the car good for on daily driving before the ayc needs servicing? 10,000km?
    thx
    Andrew

For the engine UK users favour Amsoil 0w30 but some use 5w30 as well.

The rear axle/AYC does indeed have three oily components.
    A) Differential Oil - Do it yourself
    B) AYC Clutch Packs - Do it yourself
    C) AYC Hydraulic System - Probably best for dealer to do unless you've got the right kit.

Don't forget transmission oils (Auto or manual?) and transfer box oil.

Engine oil/filter needs doing every 7000 kms. Not sure about the rest of it

    Thanks
Does the ecu for the ayc need to be flashed or plugged into at all? Will I get any codes or lights on doing the service myself?
How often should the transmission fluid be done? It's auto

auto trans fluid should last 60,000 mile if you use the corrent stuff, best stuff to use is "AMSoil universal ATF SPIII compliant" and well exeeds the requirement of the SPIII spec.

but saying that any SPIII compliant ATF will be ok but it will not be as good as the AMSoil.

    Bye for Now!
