Another Limp Mode Question

Car going into limp mode from a cold start. Fluid levels are fine. Has happened a few times when car is hot as well so no idea what is wrong.

I get a steady flashing N and when I short pin 1 and 4 I dont seem to get anything different. Very bangy going into gear as well.

trying an ECU reset now to see if it helps. Nothing has changed on the car recently and it has been fine for ages.

Anyone had similar issues?

When was the ATF last changed?

Other thing I just noted. Car will let me select 2nd as well as dumping me in 3rd.

Is it possible there are diagnostic codes that a MUT-II could read but I cannot flash out using pin 1 and 4?

What oil did you use? If something like the spring has gone it wont show any code.

Amsoil. What spring do you mean? If its the wave spring then that has been changed
