Never do anything you know you will regret (That job sounds like it's done). Never don't do anything you will wish you had (Should you have spoken to her ?) Only you will know. On the positive side, where there's life there's hope.

Live, love, learn but most of all.... Plan.
^^ again.... still not really understanding !!
All I know is, Hev was the one I should have married
I bet you can make sense of this though! It's about what others (mainly Italians) translate English into..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcUi6UEQh00
^^ WTF is that all about?
I have no idea! I enjoyed some of the Hugh Laurie interviews that came up in the panel at the side though.
For most of us, as we look back and may be having counselling...
...the regret we have is for the path not taken...
Frequently this is around a relationship...
...for the person not in our life, the event not attended, the place not visited, the argument/bad feeling not healed...
FFS Chris !!! I don't need councilling LOL
all this nostalgia stemmed from a chat with Vinnie..... he didn't remember Hev from school. different classroom !
We just got on a roll. He has been with Trish almost all his life, but they are not an item..... brief fling which produced a son... Frank who's 15 now.
I was just blessed at the time to be with ... by a country mile... the best looking girl at my school
anyway.... moving on BRB
Want it or need it...,
...BIG thing for many of us is looking back is what we did not do...
But looking back we see the best of times, and the warmest of passions...
^^ after reading your post..... I might need counselling !!
anyway.... moving on. to lighten the post.... I was meeting Liz today for a drink. the plan was to meet at 12.
she text me this morning to ask if I could make 11.30, which we did. I presumed it was because she had to shoot of early.
nope... she just wanted to spend more time with me
I have to say i laughed my arse of at all this. Chris.G we are on the same page. Just for an insite, I bought this record in 1973. Still love it. The guy who sings it was one of the biggest stars in Italy at the time he later became a politician. The relevance to the conversation is that the song is all about how Italians translate what we say in English and doesn't make any sense as a direct translation. Sghom, you say one thing I hear another.
One more for the road: Not everyone reads only the lines which have been written. Colin.
Wanting to be with someone is a big thing. It's what you have to put in versus what you get out of it that seems to be an issue.
Some of us have an amazing ability to latch onto partners that keep us in a state of anxiety and chaos and that is the bit that needs sorting i guess. Even when we meet someone who could be good for us we can sabotage that or act out our chaos and make the other person run away.
If our role models / caregivers engaged in chaos then we grow up not knowing any better? Facing this issue might help our hearts follow what makes sense in our head and in what we learn from the world around us as adults. Or not. A female friend recently told me that i would keep making mistakes until i got fed up of it but i'm not so sure it works that way either.
Anyway......a good relationship is only one person away.....
LMFAO at all this. You are getting free counseling whether you want it or not.
Counselling...not really...
Just reognition that when we look back at our past we think of those things not done
And for our future it is being aware of benfit of acting rather than avoiding...
Well, if it's any consolation, though of no real relevance, I have only two regrets in life and very very few disappointments. I consider myself quite fortunate. I think it is a trait of man that we only think of the bad times when things are not going so well and visa versa. Not that I'm suggesting SGHOM is having any bad times. I would however, were I he, sit down and review carefully where my life was heading. At the moment I would suggest a long term monolife is quite likely, with receding opportunities to remedy the situation as time inevitably but surely marches on.
On a more serious note. Best of luck, as i think you need it LMFAO Colin.
I'll explain all when I get time.... again
Oh dear. That doesn't sound good. When we meet I'll buy you a pint, but no laughing at me as I don't drink so I'll be on the J2o.
