Another CVR4 Postal request - Redhill, Surrey to Midlands

Again checking to see if there is anyone who may be able to help with collecting a set of alloys. This time from Redhill, Surrey. Even just to collect from the eBay seller while I arrange collection etc.

If there isn't, I guess Paisley will be getting another job for me

I think I could be following your purchases around!

I can pick these up as I will be passing Redhill on the M25 on Sunday. However, the timing might be an issue - I will be passing on the way there at about 6am, and on the return about 9pm. There is a possibility that the evening pick up could be somewhat earlier, depending on whether I get off work earlier.

That would get them to Gloucester.

Then on the Monday, I can go to Essex via the M5/M42/M40 and drop them off! This would have to be about 8/9pm or so, depending on exact timings.


Is any of this of any use?

Thanks Nev, that could work very well. I'll ask the seller if a Sunday evening pickup would be ok. I would then be able to collect from Gloucester Monday evening as thats about an hour down the M5 for me.

I can bring them by on the Monday evening as mentioned on my way to work. Remember, it's not my fuel!

You said you were heading to Essex on Monday? Thats the opposite direction as I'm in Wednesbury (M6 J9). But if you are heading north, that would work even better!

I can legitimately use the M5/M42/M40/M25 route to get to Essex. The more direct A40/M40/M25 route is a lot of single carriageway so slower, and the southerly A417/A419/M4/M25 is not much shorter then the route nearest you!

Hence the suggestion of Hopwood Services on the M42.
