    New interior pics

    Hello!

I´v been away for a long time, but I´ll visit this great board more often now.
And I´ve made some little mods meanwhile.
Take a look at my painted interior and please tell me what you think of it.

It all started when I saw the Galant with the light leather interior. So I decided to bring some color into my car.

At first I had to strip the cockpit.
    This is the "naked" Galant:

    And this is the result:

I´ve had help from a mate of my club. We started at the morning about 9 AM, and at about 7 PM the car was ready.

    What do you think?
    Greetings from Germany!

that looks well smart , what paint did you use? , is it actual paint or is it a type of stain? , i was just wondering about scratchs and the such like (i've got kids and a dog). you'll have to keep us informed as to how it lasts .

    I´ve used speciall plastic color.
At first we´ve cleaned the parts with brake cleaner because if there are any remains of silicone from cockpitspay the color won´t stay.
After cleaning we sprayed the parts with plastic primer.
After the primer we sprayed 3 times white plastic color and at least 2 times clear color for protection.
After about one week I´ve prepared all painted parts with wax.

Now I have to be quite carefull when I enter the car to not kick the painted parts. I have no scratches yet, the paint is quite solid.
    And it´s still clear white.

Many of my mates was sceptical, but after about a half year the white still looking like it was just painted.

    Here´s another pic:

And a pic of my speedos:

Finally I´ve chanced the AT-gear display.

Hi Mirko, good to see you around again!

I like the way your interior is coming together... Very cool! Just need to do something with the cloth on the seats to match the dashboard... Velour or Alacantara re-trim perhaps?

You´re right, and I´ll do some with the seats.
I thought of white leather and with black sites and maybe the three dimondz as symbol.

This will take some time, but I´ll plan to make it still this summer.
