FL models without TCL - as mine is the big diameter type. And 99- onwards V6 N/A but I think @swinks can confirm. In any way you have to mill out the TB side of the intake manifold to match the large butterfly valve.
the one and only...Pearl White Legnum 25 ST-R...registered in Germany - now featuring a 6A13TT engine (unless you know otherwise)

All v6 n/a have bigger throttle body.
Yes, intake plenum manifold needs some work to match bigger tb if taken from pfl vr4.
    Ex: Galant VR4
Running 268 HP ATW and 443 Nm torque at 0.9 bar
    Now: Lancer Evolution 8 FQ-300
Running 325 HP ATW and 510 Nm torque at 1.6 bar

I guessed you had one lol did it help with power or make no difference? If mitsubishi fitted a bigger one to the n/a why not the vr4?

I know an old thread but going to td04s next year.
Have got brembos, bigger wheels, lsd diffs, injectors all to go on so turbo next
Is a pfl and fl inlet manifold diffrent or same as looking at going to an na throttle body and i know if flows better but will a bigger tb aloan really make any difference ive got greddy boost pipes and will make custom tb pipe to intercooler pipe if i do this mod. But is it worth all the effort.

Fl throttle bodies are the same size as v6 na. The manifold is the same pfl to fl.*The*plenum to throttle body opening is bigger on the fl to match the larger tb diameter.

The FL throttle body is the same size as the PFL on the outside diameter but as nick said the internal diameter on the FL is larger. Not by much a few mm, but it is bigger.
So the existing inlet pipe will fit FL throttle body.

    Bye for Now!
