    Car Description

    Car History
    UK Ralliart import from new as far as I can tell from the Red Zebra (duplicate) warranty/service book. Mitsubishi stamps show PDI on the 31/08/2000 with 29 miles on the clock then up to the 8th service at 80K.
    I have owned the vehicle since the 17th August 2013 and there have been 8 previous owners. I bought it of another Rich (club member) He had been using it as a daily runner on a short journey to work for nearly five years and during his ownership he had made some small modifications.

    The COTY - I have owned for 4 years, but took it of the road 1.5 years ago as it needed the front wheel bearings changing (I have these still boxed from Camskill (£500 included in the price)). I then got a job abroad & never had the chance to fit them. It was in a friends warehouse since being sworn but for the last month has been moved outside as he needed the space. It has 120000KM / 74000m on the clock.

    Other information.
    I would like to sell both VR4's as a package - the 2000 UK Ralliart VR4 is good to go - New MOT & tax until Feb 14. The COTY Legnum needs MOT front bearings fitting, a new exhaust, windscreen & bonnet - or could just be used for spares which as we know would be very handy, it had a full service just before being put in the warehouse.

    The 2000 UK Ralliart:-
    Amsoil oil change 8 weeks ago - I've been running it on this since I've had it. 1.8k
    4 New Pirelli tyres towards the end of last year with minimal mileage.
    Rear brake pipes just replaced 10 weeks ago.
    Belts done at 110k.
    Lots and lots of invoices/receipts etc.
    AYC fluid changed 4 weeks ago - AYC working perfectly.
    I HPI checked it before I bought it and it was all clear, no finance, no accidents etc. All good.

    Bad bits
    The 2000 UK Ralliart -
    Small rusty chip on the D/S F/Window pillar. Shown in pic.
    Scuff down the passenger rear N/S door plastic bit (whatever that's called) - shown in images if you look hard.
    Crack under/paint chipping front left lower bumper - again shown in images.
    Crack on the plastic engine cover - again shown in images.
    New MOT has NO advisories. All good.

    The Legnum COTY
    As mentioned above. Needs MOT, Tax, bonnet, windscreen, exhaust and the front bearings fitting. Body work has a few small bits of rust, but good for age.

    The filter on the COTY would most likely be a Blitz Sus Power induction kit
    why fix it the right way first time - when excessive swearing can occour when it all goes wrong when you don't?

    Now with 5.7 liters of V8 muscle

    Cheers for the info Gareth, the question is, should I put the Blitz Sus Power induction kit on the Ralliart, or leave the K&N?

    There are many threads talking about which is better, panel filter over cone. The main agreement is that a cone does not work as well on a VR-4 verses a panel, unless it's running through MAP instead of a MAF - then the jury is still out. I personally run cone using MAP with piggyback ECU.

    I think I might agree - with MAP's MAF's & ECU's it much more simple me feels to stick with stock and K&N- would the change increase BHP? Thanks all - who wants this COTY is now the question?????? It needs a home forum make me an offer................please all.
