But, the aygo Rach has bought...... & don't lambast me for this... It's quite a funky car

& virtually for free! She picked it up Saturday & 1st call was to see her grandma [ & me ] I got a drive of it, & TBH, pleasantly surprised.

She paid £1000 deposit [could have paid £99 ] but she wanted all , or most, of the toys as I said.

£159 per month over 3 1/2 years, interest free. works out at just £36 per week. no VED... no breakdown cover.... no servicing... no MOT's.

It's a win win deal !! ...... Oh.... & the insurance was £670. a bit less than the initial £1600 on her KA

If you are happy with a little cheap car then new ones are not a bad plan. It is relatively inexpensive for worry free motoring. My problem is I like bigger cars with plenty of power and they don't do them new for those prices!

The Passat has gone, back in a 3 series BMW.

He doesn't like that..... for tax reasons, but mainly for the fact of not enough for his neice in the back !! My ickle granddaughter Ava

Just been on the phone to him now & he's weighing up E class merc vs 5 series BMW. & buying one or other.

I don't understand all his jargon..... but it seems, for his reasons buying is cheaper than company car ??

Dan has been to sytner to choose the spec....... exactly as he wants.

BMW 3 series coupe. In white. Red leather. Automatic... so Paul can drive it as well. And 20 inch alloys !

Ok......... lets play a game of guess the mileage. Dan has had the 330D nearly a week now. He is still in Manchester, Paul is in Southampton, dans work is in the Midlands. How many miles do you reckon it's done ???

Just spoke to Dan.... he's somewhere between Ipswich and great yarmouth, on his way back to Southampton!! And the Beemer he has ........ just clocked up 31000 miles !! Not bad in a few weeks

Well..... his 15 month old 330d is due for a change soon. Over 60k on the clock !!
Spoke to dan this morning & his head says 520 or 530d..... but his heart says 4 series, what do you reckon??

Which ever one, it wont be m sport... sciatica inducing suspension !!

Well..... went to see mum today in Dan's 330d m sport. 1st time i've been in it properly.
Total i drive everything but..... the ride !!! Possibly the most uncomfortable car i have ever been in !!

He admits to choosing his routes locally to avoid potholes & speed humps.
Bone crunching doesn't do it justice !!

So....... it goes next Friday, to be replaced by a 520d .........
