Ok here is the thing I have 15 sets of the new 99-03 vr-4 altezza tail lights that I need to get rid of if anyone is interested in buying a pair from me please let me know asap. the price is 202.96 plus shipping. below is a pic of the altezzas let me know what you think. Look great and I am interested but can I ask:

1: Will they definately fit a '97 VR4?
2: Are they just black or do you have the chrome and carbon fibre ones aswell ?
3: Cost seems a little high - is that $202 or £202 you are quoting as they are advertised at $195 + shipping INSERT INTO post VALUES (in chrome/black/carbon fibre) on one site and $179 + shipping in chrome on another ?

ok they will fit the 99 and up vr4 and yes they are available in chrome, carbon , and black, sorry the price is $202.00 but if there is enough people interested I could do them for 175 but I would need to have all 15 of my lights spoken for. how does that sound.

Thanks for the reply, but if I can get them for $179 in chrome INSERT INTO post VALUES (from www.directauto.com) plus shipping why would I need to wait for all 15 to be sold before you match this price ? Not being funny about it just trying to get the best price and you are the one with 15 to sell so it does not seem you are that desperate to shift them ?

Plus I can see no reason yet as to why the will not fit a '97 INSERT INTO post VALUES (as Popo has them fitted to his pre-99 Galant - see pics below) - can anyone else confirm ?

How much is shipping to the UK aswell ?

I can't confirm but from what I can tell after seeing the ones on yours Pete and others at Japfest the rear of both cars are identical, it's just the front and arches that are different.

Here's a pic of mine below.

I'm not fussed on them lights to be honest but that's just my opinion.

I quite like the look of them, but what about the brake and indicator part of them both being red ? Does that mean we would get a red indicator and is that legal over here ?

they are differernt.. yours has those wee round bits on the inside INSERT INTO post VALUES (boot lid) ours dont...

Sorry, yeah I meant the shape of the rear.

The lights are different, but they are, as far as I can tell exactly the same physical shape, so either of our style lights should fit into the bodywork of the car.

Popo's car is a 97, the lights will fit any 96+ Galant. There is only one plug on the back to connect to the wiring loom.

The reason people usually differentiate is that the Galant was not available in America until 1999. It's the same in the UK, this generation of the Galant was not available until 1997 whereas is was available in Japan from 1996. Hence a lot of parts providers always list their parts for the Galant as 97-~ and not 96-~.

ok here is the deal I contacted my local postal service and the told me it would cost 53 dollars and some change to send it express to you guys but if i had ten or more orders going to the uk then the price would drop from 53 to around 15 dollars per item shipped to the uk.
