How quick is that Rikki. Got them done at Brake Caliper Specialists , Nottingham way. Send them away and they give you a quote , wait a week and their back.
Just to wait a few more months for new wheels
Haha that was quick Gavin
They do look good behind the wheels mate! Nice choice of colour.
Aha yes I actually sent those guys an email earlier and they sent me through a rough quote, thinking of getting mine done in Trigger Mauve to match the car.
Just one quick question, did you go with the 'High End Paint' option and also did you have to provide new Brembo stickers or did they include them?
Went with high end paint and had them stencilled instead of decals.
They look brilliant in that colour. Much better than the usual red.
I also love that color, wish I had a VR-4 in that blue. Would like to them behind some gunmetal grey aftermarket wheels
These are the wheels I am hoping to get in March

Very nice, how much did the refurb cost if you don't mind me asking? Also do they strip the brakes down and replace the seals etc?
Hi Gib its not cheap , but they had a complete strip down, all seals replaced etc etc, they looked brand spanking new when they came back. but I guess refurbing 8year old calipers will come at a bit of a price and they were very tired.
Depends on what you want doing they can just service or they can service and paint. If you enter your details on the website they will snd you a quote.
Cheers, had a look at the site. Your right, the prices are not cheap but if you want what seems to be one of the best jobs then its well worth it!
I emailed a different brake rebuild specialist who told me they don't offer any rebuild and repaint services on the front 4 pots due to a casting issue with different metals used on casting and the bolts? Looks like I'll have to give these guys a call.
Can't decide on what colour scheme to go for still. The classic red is what my previous two VR4's had but I'm toying with gunmetal with red logo just to keep it a bit more subtle and stealthy.
Stealth is the way forward.
Ask the random refurb people if they expect decent calipers to have steel bodies. Or aluminium bolts?!?!?!
