    Gib, the car does have stainless downpipes and exhaust. It is LOUD! I'll see if I can hold on to the wheel for a while or borrow another.

    Price for the downpipes? The VR4 I'm planning to buy is completely stock so I'm in the market for some go faster bits plus some suspension and brakes.

    I'm in no immediate need for the steering wheel, I have a couple of Nardi ones I can use for the moment, and the Anglia won't be on the road for a few weeks anyway, so I'll leave the wheel with you until it's more suitable - this will allow you to either have people test drive the car, or to allow you to move it around until you've really started stripping it

    £90. They are in apparent excellent condition, seem to work okay but aren't the perfect design as the rear turbo just tees in to the pipe running past, no nicely curved join.

    Does the design affect performance or is it just an aesthetic issue? Also will you be home on Friday afternoon, say 14:00?

    I would imagine that in a high powered application the design would be restrictive. I would personally doubt there is much of an issue on a VR4 with stock turbos. If the design was better then I would be asking more for them.

    Ah, I need to be back in Leeds to start work at 16:30 so I won't be able to make it. Garry is probably better off getting the wheel as I doubt I will be able to make another trip down any point soon. Can I call dibs on the downpipe for the meantime? Might go for the suspension too once its been removed. Cheers

    Thanks for the offer giblet, I'm in Mansfield, so not too far off the M1. I'm also heading close enough to Nick's on Monday 10th, so I may be able to drop in and grab it from him then, hopefully by then he'll have pulled his finger out and started stripping the rest of the car, and won't need to worry about the wheel Either is good with me!
