    A good days work

Well, that was a good days work, was up early this morning and took the Legnum for it's MOT expecting it to fail on bits and pieces. There were a couple of minor items to sort, side light on the front didn't work, turned out to be a loose connector and the hazards didn't work which was no fuse. Luckily, the MOT tester let me sort it there and then, so no fail & re-test happily. Did struggle to get it through the emissions but finally got there, I know that is cos I have a dodgy lambda sensor and I need to change the spark plugs, anyway, happy days as I now have a full years MOT on her. Did have a look underneath while it was up on the ramp, desperately needs under sealing to stop the tin worm, that is now on the listed of things to do.

Was planning to work on my Celica Supra but decided to swap the Galant suspension I put on there from my old V6 with the Legnum suspension I got from Chris W (thanks buddy ) and took her out for a spin and what a difference, no wallowing in the corners now and the front end doesn't dip under braking. Managed to get all 4 swapped in 4 hours which I didn't think was bad going, was expecting it to take the weekend, guess that means I can work on the Celica Supra tomorrow

Nice to see another VR4 has passed an MOT without any major issues

Tinworm is becoming a real problem for our cars now. I was having a closer look at the AYC switch on mine this morning and there seems to be more surface rust than I expected on the underside of my car. I'll be making an appointment with a nearby specialist on Monday to get his opinion on the best method of treatment.
