    Spark plug recommendations

    Are there any particular recommendations on spark plugs , with running a standard set up and no boost tweeks ?

    Nope, different gap mate.
    Ex: Galant VR4
    Running 268 HP ATW and 443 Nm torque at 0.9 bar
    Now: Lancer Evolution 8 FQ-300
    Running 325 HP ATW and 510 Nm torque at 1.6 bar

    thanks swinks ill not take the ones from my old galant then, checked the ngk website and it lists bkr6eix 3764, but that must be for the v6-24 then? didnt see a specific vr4 option

    Galant V6 takes BKR6EIX-11 with 1.1mm gap.
    Legnum VR4 takes BKR6EIX with 0.8mm gap.

    The more you tune, potentially the colder the plug you need. 6 is for stock, 7 for most running higher boost, 8 for extreme tuning in my opinion. Not many VR4 owners will need an 8.
