    rear sway bar diameter?

    anyone knows the diameter of the vr4 rear sway bar? the bushings need to be replaced and looking to get some prothane ones?

    front is 20mm believe it or not.
    i bought universal 22mm polly bushes with C cage to mount it. but i can't remember if it was type A or type B.
    The only difference is the spacing between bolt holes.

    dave,will the prothane 22mm bushings work with the stock C clamps?

    no i don't think so but you get the C clamps with the universal bushes from energysuspension.com anyway and as long as you pic the correct hole spacing they bolt straight up to the original bolt holes.
    the fronts are the odd ones.
    but i found a way of using the 20mm universal one for that as well, looks a bit odd but works.

    sorry i meant to say a very long time ago.....

    standard replacement bushes are:-

    front 20mm

    rear 22mm

    rear use universal 22mm C clamp unathane bushes all very straight forward like for like swap out just make sure the hole spacing is correct.

    fronts are a bit of a odd arrangement.
    i will have to take pictures of how i mounted the front bush, to show you as any description will be open to interpretation.
