Question Service Intervals on V6 24V sport

Can anyone confirm the service intervals on the above?

I believe it is every 9k with the biggie at 54k.

Does the expensive service get done every 54k?

Going to look at a manual 24v Sport Estate tomorrow morning in Nottingham. It's done 100,000 miles with a Full Mitsu Service History, and has just had a service - it has just had the disks and pads done - hoping the cambelt and plugs were done too.

Are there any decent Mitsu specialists in the Hinckley (Leics) area? I have a main dealer here, but assume they are expensive.

If anyone wants to come along with me to view the car to point me in the right direction, they are more than welcome! (1000hrs Arnold, Nottm)

Nice, but 100000 is a high mileage for a sport.

The cambelt probably won't be done because it's not due until 108k if the servicing is done to schedule.

Nah, it's not! They were surprisingly popular as middle management type cars... BMW 325-bashing on a budget! The 2000-2002 cars will be coming off of 3, 4, and 5 year leases around now. I keep my eye on autotrader and you often see 'High Miles hence low price' adverts for Sports. Usually when you ring up, the mileage is between 90-120,000. They're more than capable of it - Just ask Mo (Zedy1). He's had one or two mega-milage Galants - I drove one of them with 173,000 on the clock, converted to LPG and sweet as!

It's a shame I'm busy tomorrow Kevin - I would've been happy to accompany you and point you in the right direction - I'm in Mansfield, so I'm fairly close to Arnold.

nice looking car (for an estate!) the mileage is not a problem with any Mitsubishi as long as the servicing has been done,i know of a guy with a 1997-2ltr GLS he's had it since new,and it's got over 240.000 mile's and it's still got plenty of life
(he get's the oil changed every month and full service every 3-4 mths )

also it's a manual and he got 155.000 mile's out the mitsy clutch, and as far as i know it's still running on it's 2nd clutch.
