    catastrophe avoided

Dodged a bullet yesterday, one of my trans cooler hoses burst on my way home from work on Thursday evening, I only noticed on Friday morning when I backed up and saw big puddle of atf oil where my car had been sat.

Being as I live in botany and work on the north shore, I'm very fortunate that it blew on ti rakau drive as was discovered by the appearance of a line of oil and patches where I had stopped in traffic leading like a blood trail all the way to my house.

So I replaced all the trans hoses and refilled the gearbox and she is sweet. Phew!

Also today I made some support bracing for the front bumper after the previous owner destroyed all its mount points leaving it unsafe and insecure.

She will now get the love and attention she deserves after previous owner neglect.
