Central locking problems

Since I have got my car back on the road I have been unable to get the Central locking to work. I have checked every fuse linked to the system but nothing. Not even my alarm which used to lock and unlock does not work the system. I have pressed the main button on the drivers door , but it only clicks. Does the Central locking have a controller or something that might not be working that I can check ?

I'm having a similar problem. Central lockings gone, front interior light doesn't come on when ignition goes off. And reverse beeper has stopped. I have an auto. Read threads about the etacs (little white box behind the fuse box inside the car) being faulty. Got mine out but no idea how to test it. Anyone shed light on this.
