How do You now?!
But, no. That car I crashed. Now I have front wheel drive with LPG. But don't have a problem rebuild to AWD. I am from Latvia and here I rebuild many VR4 Galant. All donors I buy in UK and rebuild in Latvia.
Is two ways how can rebuild this car.
First: drop in LHD Galant (no matter 2.0i or 2.4gd or 2.5i), transmission and engine from VR4
Second: transfer the steering to LHD
In both ways need two cars.
And it's no possible do with USA Galant, only with Europe Galant, because USA Galant have another front and rear chassis.
Sorry for my english
