Car Description
Car History
Bought from Paul Brown cars in 2012 (origionaly and Ebony & Ivory car)
Serviced very frequently with oil changes every 2-2.5k miles
ATF changed every 10k (done 2k since the last one)
New Falkens fitted in June 2014
New ARB bushes in May 2014
New track rod ends in May 2014
New steering rack gaitors in May 2014
New spark plugs fitted in June 2012 (done around 35k miles on them)
New rocker cover gaskets done in June 2014
Modifications.
K&N panel filter
Magnecor 8.5mm HT leads
Turbo smart mechanical boost gauge (set to 14psi)
Custome made stainless steel exhaust from the turbo's back. Made by Longlife in Bicester and carries a lifetime warranty. This exhaust does not permit the fitment of a Cat although it is pretty quite and the tailpipe mimicks the standard one
Larger front mounted intercooler
Wider facelift alloys (tyre size is 225 rather than 205)
55w 4300k HID headlamps
Other information.
The car has a biege leather interior fitted but this is not the origional so has the black carpets. I still have the load cover and dog guard although both need attention.
The car is not the cleanest around but it is very solid and has not put a foot wrong in 35K miles of ownership. It is also making very good power (298BHP on 13PSI with over 340LB/ft)
Everything still works as it should (Aircon, AYC etc) and so long as the new owner keeps up with regular maintenance this car will continue to go on for many years yet.
Like I said it's not the tidiest car around but it does still scrub up very well, it's very fast and very comfy!
Bad bits
Bad paint
Various small dings and scratches
Laquer peel on the spoiler
Getting quite ticky these days when cold
Little bit of smoke when lifting off at high RPM's (auto so very rarely get any to be honest)
Interior is not the cleanest these days
Boot carpet is malting
I would recommend a cambelt as there is no documentation for the last one (supposedly done in 2011)
Origional stereo speakers are not great
