Exclamation Battery connected wrong way - What's broken

    Hello,

Just to add to my problems the battery was briefly connected the wrong way round this morning while in a rush. Flash and whirring noise.

The car seems to work now, the only thing I've noticed is the instrument panel is dark and the heating doesn't work but control unit seems fine.

Also a fusebox diagram might be useful.

    Cheers

    Andy

Search for battery connected wrong or similar, people have done it before and there are 2 fuses that often blow.

Seems to be 100 AMP link fuse that is blown. Will confirm once replaced.

Can confirm it was only the 100 amp link fuse which blew. Also the fuse to my amp installed in the trunk blew.

A light getaway there! Just keep an eye on your battery and alternator for a while. If possible, I would take voltage readings at the battery to make sure it is charging correctly, at around 14.4V.
