Anyway...can someone clear up this no AYC business on a VR4!?

It is not an issue of any VR-4 not having AYC but just a question about UK/Ralliart imports having AYC

Some VR-4 models did not have AYC.

Some UK cars were SVAd by the dealer network weren't they? I have no idea if they all had AYC. There are tell tale signs of a UK car. You should have an English warning sign on the back of the sun visor relating to airbags, a rebadged cobra alarm, a foglight cut into the rear bumper, and best of all an English service record booklet with the supplying dealer details.

I did not know that other Mitsubishi dealers brought new cars to UK and SVA'd them for sale...

And whether they were non AYC...?

Lol. I can imagine Steve being called a few thing in his time - petrol head, boost junkie, etc - but I cant put a liking for cars that are less than 20mpg together with tree hugging...
