    Engine specs sheets

Looking for 6A13 TT engine specs sheets, something like it's available anywhere ?

Asking as have spare engine in garage with bottom end failure and I will attempt to fix it but need to have specs/tolerances sheets to measure what I got and then decide if its still good to repair and what parts need to be replaced or machined, pls point me in the right direction or send them to my email (will pm you).

this is the sort of thing you want , but i am not sure if it covers the 6A13TT engine it says it is for the 6A1? engine so it might cover it or it might just be for 6A12 mivec and 6A13 SOHC engines.

unfortunately it is to big to upload, it is 3mb and i think the limit is 2 and bit mb

i will have a look in the galant manual on here to see if section 11A is same as the one i was going to upload.

found another version of the section that is smaller size and it will upload, but as i said above i am not sure it the one for the 6A13TT engine.

    6A1_Engine_Manual.pdf

but you probably have this already.

I go through galant manual and there's only torque specs, what I'm after is crank measurements and big end bearing measurements/tolerances, pistons, bores, rings ect could be handy too while I'm there. Not sure if there's any point following specs from not exact engine?

    btw send me an email

Great, that's what I'm after, its just I hope my assumption is correct that 6A13 and 6A13 TT have the same values?

that was my thought, i am not sure they are the correct figures, maybe someone else can confirm or not as the case may be.

I'm not sure either but both engines are the same capacity, bore, stroke etc, The block is the same casting with a couple of bits blanked or machined depending on your point of view. So I would be surprised if the measurements aren't the same.

sound promising, bring on the telescoping gauges and oil clearance plastic squish strips, can't remember what they are actually called.

It make sense if manual title says 6A1 it must be the same engines family which very big possibility share the same tolerances, otherwise it will be mark by * and say TT not applicable or something, me think.

Yes Dave plasigauge it is, as been pointed above and after a glance in linked pages I can pick right tools for the job.

That's the plan, plastigauge will be just for confirmation of what I chose/calculated to fit. Bare in mind that's will be my first attempt of such a complex job so any tips are more than welcome.
