Yeah thanks. Got a noise and some people are telling me it's my turbo. Got not smoke, no lights on and no fault codes just the noise 😕. Changed spark plugs ran best ever for a week then the noise at 3000rpm.

What's the noise? Turbo noise should be boost related, not rpm related.

I put a video on Facebook club vr4 page. It's a bit like a vibrating sound.

I can't tell much from that video. What happens if you hold the revs at 3000? What about if you are driving and accelerating hard?

It continues to vibrate when keep on revs. Worse when engine warm. Haven't accelerated hard didn't want anything to go bang lol.

I've took the pipe off from the man sensor at the turbo end and put fingers in turbo and there is a bit of play on the spline that sticks out. The fan blades are moving freely. This means the turbo is on its way does it?

Well, you posted on CVR4 facebook page already and the answer was clear. Big end bearing failure - definitely not turbo related! You need another engine or need to get the engine rebuilt - best before anything goes seriously bang and destroys the block.

Yeah I did post but got conflicting replies to each video. As I said on the second one it sounds worse that it actually was!
