Up for sale my PFL Mitsubishi Legnum VR-4 2.5 V6 TWIN TURBO 4WD 5 SPEED AUTO LPG 1997
Good condition, no tappet noise. Engine and gearbox run smooth. No warning lights, etc.
Xenon projector headlights, moonroof, electric windows and mirrors, MOMO steering wheel, cloth black/red interior taken from Legnum Type-S, detachable tow bar.
I've done 25000 miles by this car and it never ever let me down, it's a great family estate car with lots of power.


The car was imported from Japan by Ebony & Ivory in 2009 with 70000 kms (43750 miles) on the clock, then speedo was converted to miles and is showing now 110700 miles. The actual milage is 83750 miles.
3 UK owners.
3 keys.
Japanese service book, manuals, documents, receipts, service history, etc.
The car is SORN.

The car has been proffesionaly LPG converted by one of CVR-4 forum member at the milage of 90000 miles.
LPG makes the car very cheap to drive.
The LPG system: It's LPG Tech 306, Reducer KME Gold, Gas tank IRENE 60L, Injectors HANA 2000.
LPG still under warranty till July 2015.


During the last 2 years of my ownership, the car has had replaced/fitted:
Cambelt kit done in July 2014 at 105000 miles, so has only 5000 miles done on new cambelt.

Brand new aftermarket downpipes (Thermal heat wrapped)
Full underbody sealed every year
Engine oil CASTROL EDGE 5W-30 replaced every 6000 miles
Flush fit rear bumper fog light

Just had an engine oil, radiator and cooling fluid changed last week.

Rear wheel arches need attention, front bumper slightly damaged, some scratches and stonechips as expected of 18 years old car.

Never seen this round Bolton. Were abouts are you? If this was for sale when I was hunting is have had it for sure. Love my coty but the lpg and standard ride height plus non leather and moonroof, that's what I was looking for. Great combination of spec imho.

Am just looking for another bigger car as the Fto is small and am looking at garaging her just for shows, this would be a daily and an extra space when we go camping. Well, it's a big car with a huge boot which is even bigger when the seats are folded down, perfectly if you want use it for camping. Also the car has detachable tow bar with single electric, so if you want towing a caravan it's not a problem.

A little bit sad day for me but I'm sure that she has a new great home now.

Enjoy a very good example of legnum as cost of driving mondeo diesel

Its a great example thanks to its previous owner, IIRC there was not excuses to maintain it to highest standard possible, I remember when I meet Mac first time he harass me to flush and change autobox oils asap and there was only one choice, AMSoil, then it has regular check over on our small local meet, all has been done, cambelt, plugs, diffs fluids, AYC, wheel bearings, brakes, downpipes, suspension arms and links, exhaust, lights, FL interior and dash, the lot, I think he also put brand new set of ign coils not long ago just to make it perfect.
