I have ordered some JB Weld, having done some fairly extensive internet research! Next Friday's job...

I have seen JB weld used to fix a leaking fuel tank on a temp basis.

I do find jb weld is very useful as I've fix a fair few things with it ie ( radiator housing for thermostat core plugs and other stuff ) but i don't know if it will work for this just have a go see what happens. Failing that hydraulic glue can't remember what it called

I found the JB Weld a little too runny, so it dribbled out of the hole! But I am sure that it had filled the crack quite well.

So I opted today for the Chemical Metal, over the top. As access is a bit limited, and the Chemical Metal goes off quickly, I made a right pig's ear of it! But I have attached a picture for you to laugh at...

But who cares, because it works!!

You can see the slightly darker JB Weld underneath, and the Chemical Metal over the top. And on everything else

So I will either tap the Chemical Metal for the sensor, or mount it in a sandwich plate.

But first, I will have to deal with the new coolant leak!

This is still holding up great! Also, my coolant leak was a pinhole in the top hose and is now holding excellent pressure in the system.
