Whats this noise?

so a little vid I took ive had this noise for some time but it seems alittle worse since santapod last week at 7 sec the clutch is depressed briefly and the noise goes away them comes back when released drives perfectly and makes no noise while moving what you recon?

I should add it does not do it cold only when hot

if you cant hear it when you're driving, you might still have time, i could hear mine through most of the gears at a lower speed in my last vr4 before i sold it.

It's been doing it for some time already but worse now after the latest pod trip, I wana change my satchy clutch anyway so may as well get it sorted

definate thrust bearing may as well do whole clutch while u have it all apart as u usually get clutch and bearing in kit form when you buy

Got new clutch on way and gearbox booked for rebuild removing it this weekend

So got the gearbox back today he said it was pristine inside there was the tinyest amount of wear in the inputshaft bearing but nothing that should have caused the noise or been a problem, anyway it's got new bearings now so hopefully it's sorted, there was a fair amount of ware in the clutch release bearing so perhaps it was that?

All back together now and much better glad to get it back on the road, the full list of parts was

Rebuilt gearbox
Competition clutch flywheel, new bolts
Competition clutch stage 2 clutch
New poly engine mountings plus hard mounts on the cross bar
New Poly arb bushes
New transfer box seals
New tube and fin intercooler
New polished intercooler pipes and hoses
New hard pipes
New induction pipes
New down pipes
Track rod end
Steering rack gater
New starter motor
New castrol diff and gear oil
4 x new toyo tires
And lots of tweeks to front bumper
Empty bank balance

My manual gearbox (V6 non VR4) is making a very similar noise, and only when warm. I haven?t done the clutch pedal operation test yet I?ll do so tomorrow and report the outcome.

Is it just the clutch release bearing or is it the gearbox input shaft bearing as well? Answers above suggested both..
