    rear supension problem

The rear toe control arms inner bushes have gone on my v6 sport, Here is problem the nut comes off fine but the bolt seems to be siezed into the bush on both sides no amount of force will move them and there is no room to get a grinder in to cut them. Does anybody have any idea how to remove them, I want to avoid gas gutting as the petrol and lpg tanks are close. If worst comes the local scrap yard has one in that I could get the rear frame off and bench build it with new arms and fit that but any ideas would be welcome>

    cheers

Have exactly the same happen to my previous Galant, simple 4 wheel alignment turn out to be 4 days job
    on my holiday
    1070 miles away fom home
5 days b4 my jurney back home

Unfortunately thrre was no way around than heat and brute force when alignment guy snap nut off adjustable bolt, they manage to brake a bit subframe while trying to take it off then i need to get new arm, not an issue there but special bolt required, according to mitsi dealer in PL was only available in NL, so after a day of my hols wasted on scrappy yards I manage to get one.

Sorry if that's not sound very optimistic but i remember headache ive got caused by that more than 5 years ago like it happen yesterday

Check prices from Mitsubishi, they may not actually be that bad!

Looking at the parts list, you will probably be wanting the following:

    camber.JPG

    41604 - MR223540 - Bolt, RR Susp Assist Link
    41605C - MR130510 - Nut, RR Susp Assist Link
    41606 - MS450992 - Washer, RR Susp Assist Link
    41636 - MB911283 - Plate, RR Susp Assist Link

Unless I've read it wrong - I think now that maybe that's the toe adjustment stuff?

Anyway, here is an online version of the parts list I used to get those part numbers.
