It's beautiful! so much better than the act one there's no grabbing at all its like a standard clutch, pedal is abit stiffer but apart from that you wouldn't know its not Oem

But you didnt place the 2 "shims" back that are on the OEM flywheel?
03078 and I thought there was 1 on each side of the flywheel.

Awsome clutch. I have CC stage 2 for month now, and i'm absolutely positively surprised. Feel OEM, but rated apparently 500/500.
Ex: Galant VR4
Running 268 HP ATW and 443 Nm torque at 0.9 bar
Now: Lancer Evolution 8 FQ-300
Running 325 HP ATW and 510 Nm torque at 1.6 bar
I've made a spacer myself and are using the cc lightweight flywheel aswell.
the purpose of the thin shim is to give a hole for a clutch alignment tool to spigot into. not nessacary but helpful
Another question.
I just put the gearbox back, but now the fork is leaning towards the engine instead of towards the slave cylinder.
Did I do something wrong or is the Competition Clutch Stage 2 a push type?
If it is an evo clutch it should be a pull type. You have to pull the lever toward the gearbox so the release bearing locks into the pressure plate.
It is a stage 2 evo clutch with a 7mm spacer.
And I think the bearing is already locked in there.

It does look a little more engine side than normal. I'd bolt the slave cylinder in place and operate the clutch. That should prove it. The fork only moves a few mm normally so there is still plenty of space for that.
I have struggled a couple of time to get the release bearing to go into the clutch correctly.
I have had to give it a really hard pull until it snaps into place.
I think I have in the past put a long screw driver behind the bit of the fork that the slave cylinder presses against (the bit in the picture) and the bell housing and given it a sharp pull and you feel the positive snap into place.
Not sure if that is normal or not. Some seem to go in easy and some need a little persuasion.
Taking them off has a bit of a nack to it as well.

Took away the slave, pressed the fork by hand and I think the bearing cannot go any further towards the clutch. So it should be locked in place.

The picture looks like the release bearing is fully engaged. But in the video it looks like the release bearing is hanging out of the clutch spring plate. You can see the wave spring between the bearing and the spring plate.
With the engine running does the clutch work ok or is there any issues you can describe.

That looks fine to me.
As long as it is correct , it just looks a little odd from the picture to the video.
I have never actually seen the clutch release bearing engagement before.
I have always done it through feel and listening for the engagement snap into place.

The operation of the clutch look correct in the video.
All you can do it try it.
In the video is the clutch pedal being fully pressed and fully released.
If so why does the engagement of the baring look different in the picture to the video.
Was the picture taken with the clutch fork being pushed in the opposite direction to normal operation.
That would explain why it look different.
