Programming the VR-4 FL keyless remotes / fobs

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcNPAZZ9YMk

    Procedure:
    1) Close all doors
    2) Short pins 1 and 4 on the OBD connector
    3) Switch ignition ON/OFF 3 times - tempo like in video
    4) Car locks/unlocks the central locking
    5) Press Lock key on fob 3 times
    6) Car locks/unlocks the central locking
    7) Repeat last two steps as necessary (some cars can store 2 keys max, some can store 4 depending on year)
    8) Switch ignition On and then Off to finish procedure

I read the manual, but it didn't work for me. What isn't specified that clearly enough is that the procedure shall be done with closed doors, and that the ON/OFF time for the ignition to enter the procedure is not 1s/1s but MAX 1s / MAX 1s. If you do it slower it won't work. If the doors are open it won't work. If you spend more than 10s from grounding pin 1, it won't work (that alone is tricky since you need to do it with the doors closed, reaching between your legs).

My alarm is wired to work with the original remote, keeping the factory looks but adding alarm features under the hood.

    Enjoy!

Finally someone who did a how-to on this which is complete and crystal clear aka dummy-proof (talking about me of course). Well done, thanks!
